Millar College of the Bible is a Christian Bible college with its home in Pambrun, Saskatchewan, and three campuses.
Millar College of the Bible exists to develop passionate, relevant servants of Jesus Christ who are shaped by the entire Scriptures. Its mission is to develop believers through sound Bible teaching, role modelling and practical experience, with Christlike character, competence in ministry, and commitment to impacting the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Integral Model of Education aims to move the whole person to a deeper love for Jesus. All staff across the three campuses adhere to the fifteen points of the doctrinal statement.
William Millar was led to Christ by D.L. Moody while preaching in Scotland, and later came to Canada to preach and was invited to begin Bible classes in Moose Jaw, SK. The school moved to Pambrun, SK in 1932, when Herbert W. Peeler was asked to help with the teaching. In January 1933, Reverend Millar passed away, leaving Mr. Peeler to guide the school.
The Christian Ministry Certificate represents the completion of one year of study at Millar. The Bachelor of Biblical Studies is described as the core of the program and requires three years of study at Millar. Students are immersed in the study of the Bible, Theology, and Ministry Methods. The Fourth Year Internship program spends three weeks every month in hands-on ministry, with the last week of each month spent on-campus in a classroom setting.
