Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER) is a flagship Deemed-to-be University established in 1983 under the MAHER Trust, a public charitable education trust founded by late Mrs. D. Admissions
Admissions to medical and dental courses are based on NEET (UG & PG) scores through centralized counseling by the Medical Counselling Committee of DGHS. Selection follows merit-based allocation after counseling. The institution accepts applications for UG, PG, and PhD programs for the academic year 2025-26. Admission inquiries are handled at the MAHER Campus admission office in Chennai.
