Academics
Maharaja Agrasen College offers undergraduate degree programs across three streams: Arts (B.A. Hons in Business Economics, English, Journalism, Hindi, Political Science), Commerce (B.Com. Hons), and Science (B.Sc. Physical Science, B.Sc. Hons Electronics, B.Sc. General Mathematics). The college provides ICT-enabled teaching-learning infrastructure and operates a dedicated MAC e-learning portal to support student learning. Campus & Infrastructure
The college features a fully air-conditioned library with over 43,752 books and access to approximately 49,270 e-journals through the Delhi University Library System. The library includes reference sections, reading rooms, college archives, and specialized subject collections across multiple floors. Computer and internet facilities are available throughout, with Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) for easy book access. Braille kits and facilities for visually impaired students are provided. The campus also includes laboratories, hostel facilities (Vidyottama Girl's Hostel), and dedicated spaces for student activities.
Admissions
Admissions to undergraduate programs are conducted through the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) examination. The college processes admissions for multiple academic years and maintains an Admission Grievance Committee. All admissions are provisional pending document verification, and the college reserves the right to cancel admission if submitted documents are found to be incomplete or inaccurate. Placements & Outcomes
The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) connects students with industry through internships, training programs, and placement drives. The college organized an Annual Placement Fair in February 2025 with over 250 participants and recruiters from Finance, Consulting, Marketing, IT, and Media sectors. Major recruiting partners include Deloitte, KPMG, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Paytm, Asian Paints, Cognizant, Accenture, Swiggy, Flipkart, NDTV, and others. The TPC conducts resume-building sessions, mock interviews, soft-skill workshops, and career counselling webinars throughout the year.
Student Life & Development
The college emphasizes holistic student development through National Cadet Corps (NCC), National Service Scheme (NSS), and Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) societies.
