Logan University operates two colleges: the Logan College of Chiropractic and the Logan College of Health Sciences. The flagship Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) program requires at least 90 semester hours of prerequisite undergraduate coursework and includes study in basic sciences, chiropractic sciences, and clinical sciences. Students train in eight outpatient clinics (five fee-for-service, three free) across the St. Louis metropolitan area and can choose from eleven elective chiropractic techniques. Beyond the D.C., the university offers a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Health Professions Education (online), six master's programs (Health Informatics, Sports Science & Rehabilitation, Nutrition & Human Performance, Applied Nutrition & Dietetics, Strength & Conditioning, and Chiropractic Pediatrics), and two bachelor's degrees (Human Biology and Life Science). A Physician Assistant (PA) program is in development with anticipated first matriculation in January 2027.
The 112-acre Chesterfield campus features state-of-the-art anatomy labs, technique rooms, and recreational facilities including a 1/4-mile running track, basketball and tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, disc golf course, and a Sports/Wellness Complex. The student body is 56.5% male and 43.5% female, with approximately 8% undergraduates and 51% doctoral students; the vast majority are from across the United States with only about a dozen international students. Logan hosts approximately 30 student organizations, Greek organizations, and sports clubs. While the university previously fielded intercollegiate athletic teams, it has not done so since 2010–11; club teams currently compete in men's and women's basketball, soccer, softball, and ice hockey.
Logan offers multiple pathways for prospective students, including regular admission to the Doctor of Chiropractic program and transfer options. The university hosts Future Leopard Weekend events three times annually (March, June, October) where prospective students can tour the campus, meet faculty and current students, and learn about the D.C. curriculum and clinical opportunities. Visitors who register and make a deposit earn a $1,000 scholarship. Out-of-town attendees receive complimentary lodging at the Drury Plaza Hotel–Chesterfield. The university maintains 3+3 articulation agreements with 52 colleges and universities from 22 states, allowing students to enter the D.C. program after three years of undergraduate study and earn their bachelor's degree from their home institution after completing their first year at Logan.
Logan maintains athletic internship partnerships with Harris–Stowe State University, Lindenwood University, University of Missouri, and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, assigning interns to provide chiropractic care to student-athletes. The university's Office of Scholarship and Sponsored Programs (OSSP) coordinates internal institutional research and external research grants. Logan graduates are recognized by the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and the institution emphasizes evidence-informed education and hands-on clinical training to prepare healthcare leaders for immediate community impact.
