LSI was one of the first international chains of language schools and has taught English, French and German to international students since 1965. The LSI story began in 1965 when the first school was opened in Kensington, London. The global network has since expanded to fourteen schools spanning seven countries.
LSI offers English, French and German language courses, as well as exam courses for English, French and German. On the first day, students take a written test and an interview so they can be placed in the class best suited to their level. Students receive a certificate on their last day stating the course attended and the level attained, as proof of their language competence.
LSI schools are located in city centre locations, offering immersive learning experiences in vibrant cultural surroundings. Students receive free WiFi internet access in school. LSI Language Centres are equipped with materials and resources in comfortable surroundings, and computer rooms are available for use during lessons or self-study. LSI can arrange accommodation, including homestay with a local family and residential accommodation.
