Language Studies International (LSI) is dedicated to providing a high quality English language and cultural immersion experience to international students and professionals of diverse ages and backgrounds. LSI aims to help students develop as individuals, enhancing their confidence, maturity, and ability to integrate in a multicultural world, as well as helping them achieve their academic goals. The LSI story began in 1965 when the organisation opened its first school in Kensington, London. LSI has been teaching English, French and German to international students since 1965. The organisation has since expanded to a network of fourteen schools spanning seven countries.
LSI Toronto offers General English, TOEFL preparation, and Cambridge Exam (CAE) courses, as well as Academic English 30 courses for students at intermediate to advanced levels. Academic English combines general English with a focus on key academic skills and exam English. LSI also offers a Pathways programme that prepares students for the academic challenges of English or French speaking programmes at colleges and universities in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and France. In addition to standard courses, LSI Toronto offers customisable programmes tailored to the goals and needs of individuals and student groups.
LSI Toronto is housed in a modern school building in the Rosedale neighbourhood of Toronto. The campus includes a student lounge with a microwave and fridge, a computer room, and free internet access. Homestay accommodation is available with single and twin room options, with an average 60-minute commute to LSI Toronto by public transport.
