Lander College for Men offers a distinctive dual curriculum combining intensive Talmudic study with college coursework. Day program students attend Beis Medrash L'Talmud in the morning and evening, with college classes Monday–Thursday afternoons (3–8pm). The college offers majors in accounting, biology, computer science, cybersecurity, finance, management, mathematics, political science, and psychology, plus pre-professional tracks (pre-med, pre-dental, pre-law, pre-engineering, pre-PA, pre-PT, pre-OT). An Evening Division serves students who study at other yeshivas during the day and attend college classes Monday and Wednesday evenings (6–11pm). The core curriculum emphasizes writing, research, and analytical skills across natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities.
The college occupies a 7-acre campus in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens. Many day program students live on campus for a fully immersive experience; others commute. Student life includes clubs, organizations, in-Shabbos programs, and a vibrant community centered on shared Torah values. The Evening Division has its own student government and tailored programming. Housing, dining, and recreational facilities support both residential and commuting students. Lander uses rolling admissions with applications submitted at apply.touro.edu/lcm. Applicants select either the Day Program (College/Yeshiva), Evening Division, or Post-Pesach program. The process includes submitting transcripts and, for day program candidates, a one-on-one interview. SAT/ACT scores are not required for the standard application. Students may transfer up to 48 college credits from post-high school yeshiva studies and up to 36 credits through Touro's Israel Option program. International student services are available. Honors pathway and integrated honors track applications are submitted separately after admission to the college.
Career Services, directed by Mrs. Jodi Smolen, provides individualized support including resume development, LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation, and internship placement. The college emphasizes early internship engagement as key to post-graduation employment. A required Business Communications Workshop prepares students for workplace success, with curriculum designed to bridge cultural norms for Orthodox Jewish students.
