History
The college held its 29th Foundation Day celebration on 17 August 2024. The need for a new institution in the area arose from the explosion and expansion of higher education towards the end of the 20th century.
Academics
The college offers General Courses and Distance Courses, as well as I.T.I Trade. Admissions are open for B.A. and B.Com. 1st semester students for 2024-25. Admission forms are also published for H.S (Arts, Commerce & Science) and for I.T.I (2023-24).
