L'École de L'Automobile is a Montréal automotive training school founded in 2004, focused on hands-on mechanic training.
L'École de L'Automobile is located at 3399 Boulevard Crémazie Est, Montréal (Québec) H1Z 2J1. The school was officially founded on July 9, 2004, to meet growing demand for qualified professionals in the automotive industry. Its mission from the beginning has been to provide complete automotive mechanic training focused on workshop practice and hands-on experience.
The school's first group of students entered on October 18, 2004. To mark its 20th anniversary, the school inaugurated a new campus at 3399 Boulevard Crémazie Est, Montréal in 2023. The renovated campus is equipped with modern technical training technology.
The intensive mechanics program lasts less than 6 months and includes a 5-week in-company evaluation. At least 50% of program time is spent in the workshop. Morning and evening classes allow students to work full-time while studying, and course start dates occur every 4 to 6 weeks. The school states its instructors are certified, experienced mechanics who still work in the industry. It also offers a program in automotive detailing and polishing, listed as Technicien en Esthétique et polissage Automobile.
The new campus includes vast workshops, interactive training rooms and cutting-edge equipment. Students are permitted to bring their own cars for repairs in the workshop.
Admission is handled through an information request and an advisor meeting at the Montréal campus. The school states that 250 students were placed in permanent jobs last year. It has also partnered with Amazon under its Career Choice tuition program.
