JoinAir Helicopters is a privately owned flight training school in Chilliwack, British Columbia, offering helicopter and aeroplane pilot training.
JoinAir Helicopters Inc. is a private training institution located at 1-8409 Lockheed Place, Chilliwack, BC, Canada. The school started in 2018 when Craig Joiner, its founder, opened a helicopter flight school with an R44 helicopter. Its stated mission is to train students to become the most professional and equipped pilots in the industry.
In 2020, JoinAir Flight Training expanded into fixed wing training with aeroplane training on the Cessna 152. In summer 2022, the school set up a satellite base in Kamloops offering helicopter training. JoinAir now offers Instructor Ratings on aeroplanes as well as helicopters.
Training programs include the Private Pilot Licence and Commercial Pilot Licence for both helicopter and aeroplane, along with the Night Rating, the Approved Mountain Course and a CPL Conversion Course. Training is offered in the mountainous regions of Western Canada. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekends by appointment.
The fleet includes a Schweizer 300 CBi and a Bell 206 Jet Ranger for rotary-wing training, and a Cessna 152 and a Cessna 172 for fixed-wing instruction. The Cessna 172 was added to the fleet in 2021, and a Cessna 152 Aerobat was added in 2024. The school can be reached at +1 (604)-792-1333.
