Jesus and Mary College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. It was established by the Congregation of Jesus and Mary in 1968. The college describes itself as a leading liberal arts college aiming to emerge as a path breaker nationally and globally in education. Its vision is to contribute to a just, humane and inclusive society through transformative education.
History
The congregation was founded by Saint Claudine Thevenet in Lyon, France, in 1818. In July 1968 the college opened its doors to its first batch of students for its first academic session. The college was awarded an 'A' Grade in the first cycle of NAAC accreditation in 2014. In 1994 it became the pioneering college to offer the four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) course, and in 1998 it became the first college in DU to start a Placement Cell. The college celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2017-18.

The college is accredited by NAAC with an 'A+' grade. Its principal's message describes the institution as a proud recipient of a high NAAC accreditation score, reflecting the rigorous standards it upholds.

Campus & Facilities
The college site is a 14-acre plot in Chanakyapuri, on the boundary of Diplomatic Enclave. Facilities include a Psychology Lab, B.El.Ed Lab and Resource Room, B.Voc. Healthcare Management Simulation Lab, computer labs, a library with OPAC services, and a medical room. The campus also has an amphitheater and hockey, cricket, lawn tennis, football and basketball fields.
Admissions
Admissions are offered through CUET-UG via CSAS, covering 50% of seats under University of Delhi admission. The remaining 50% of undergraduate seats are under the Christian Minority Women quota.
