JECRC University is a private state university established in 2012 by the JECRC University Act, located in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
JECRC University Jaipur, powered by Seekho, is a private university. It was established and incorporated as a State Private University through the JECRC University Act, 2012 (Act 15/2012 of the Rajasthan State Legislature). The campus is at Plot No. IS-2036 to IS-2039, Ramchandrapura Industrial Area, Vidhani, Sitapura Extension, Jaipur-303905, Rajasthan, India.
The university received approval from the UGC under sections 2(F) and 12(B) of the UGC Act 1956, with the right to confer degrees under section 22(1). It was included in the UGC list of approved universities by UGC letter dated 8th January 2013.
The university aims to become a renowned centre of higher learning and to work towards academic, professional, cultural and social enrichment of individuals and communities. It focuses on research and the spirit of innovation to pursue solutions to local, regional and global needs.
The university offers programs at UG, PG and Doctoral level, with 155+ programs in total. Fields include Engineering, Computer Applications, Jaipur School of Business, Mass Communication, Law, Design, Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Economics and Hospitality. It reports more than 26,000 active students across 29 states.
The campus is located in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, and spans 32 acres. Admission routes include JEE Main merit for B.Tech, CUET-UG merit for other UG programs, merit for Integrated Law programs, merit based on qualifying examinations for UG programs without an entrance test, and merit for MBA.
