JECRC University is a private university established in 2012 and incorporated as a State Private University under the JECRC University Act, 2012 (Act 15/2012 of the Rajasthan State Legislature). The university has its campus in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Its vision is to become a renowned center of higher learning and to work toward academic, professional, cultural and social enrichment of individuals and communities.
Academics
JECRC University offers 155+ programs at UG, PG and Doctoral level across Engineering, Computer Applications, Jaipur School of Business, Mass Communication, Law, Design, Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Economics and Hospitality. The university focuses on research and a spirit of innovation to pursue solutions to local, regional and global needs. It was recognized as one of only 6 Group 1 Centres by MeitY for the GENESIS Scheme, and it reports 3,800+ startup ideas cultivated and 12,000+ students in EDP (JIC).
Campus & Facilities
The 32-acre campus combines classical architecture and landscaping to create a learning environment. Facilities listed include boys and girls hostels, a central library with Wi-Fi, research carrels and digital resources and e-journals, Turnitin/iThenticate plagiarism detection, and campus rainwater harvesting and recycling. Admissions
Undergraduate admission routes include B.Tech through JEE-Main, CUET-UG based admission for other UG programs (excluding integrated Law), and programs admitted on qualifying exam merit without a relevant entrance test. Integrated Law programs and MBA admissions are also offered.
Recognition
The university is approved by the UGC under sections 2(F) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956, with the right to confer degrees under section 22(1). It is accredited by NBA, AICTE and NAAC, and has received government grants of more than Rs. 5 Cr. to support startups across India for setting up centers of excellence.
