About
Jagannath University Jaipur was established by an Act of the Rajasthan State Legislature (Act No. 19 of 2008) on April 16, 2008. It was approved under Sections 2(f) and 12-B of the UGC Act, 1956, and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university is promoted by the Jagan Nath Gupta Memorial Educational Society, a registered non-profit organization established in 1993. Its vision is to develop the university as a Centre of Excellence for higher education and research.
Academics
The university offers UG and PG programs in Engineering & Technology, Management, Law, Agriculture, Education, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Paramedical Sciences, Naturopathy & Yogic Science, Architecture and Planning. Ph.D. programs are offered in select disciplines. Its academic system incorporates the latest NEP-2020 guidelines, including CBCS, outcome-based assessments, skill development, industry partnerships, and promotion of the Indian Knowledge System. The university has seven faculties.

The campus is located at NH-12, Chaksu Bypass, Tonk Road, Jaipur, Rajasthan - 303901. Listed facilities include University Library, Book Bank, Sitapura and Chaksu Libraries, Hostels, Auditorium, Gymnasium, Laboratories, Class-rooms, Cafeteria/Mess, and Health Facilities. The university has a registered Alumni Association. It has signed MoUs with industrial and professional organizations to support industry integration, skill education, and internships and placements.

Admission routes include a university entrance test (JUEE) for students without a state or national eligibility test, CUET-based admission, and online application for programmes with category and academic qualification details.

The university has been accredited by NAAC (2nd Cycle) with an A grade in 2022. Its B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture programme is accredited by ICAR for 5 years.
