Academics
ISF College of Pharmacy offers a comprehensive range of pharmacy programs across all levels. Undergraduate programs include D.Pharm. (2 years, since 1984) and B.Pharm. (4 years, since 2000). Postgraduate offerings span M.Pharm. in nine specializations—Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Quality Assurance, Pharmacognosy, Industrial Pharmacy, Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmacy Practice—each 2 years. Professional programs include Pharm.D. (6 years) and Pharm.D. (Post-Baccalaureate, 3 years). Doctoral research is available through PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (max. 5 years). All programs are affiliated to IK Gujral Punjab Technical University (except D.Pharm., which is affiliated to Punjab State Board of Technical Education) and approved by AICTE, PCI, and the Government of Punjab.
Campus & Infrastructure
The college features state-of-the-art facilities including specialized laboratories equipped with modern instruments, spacious lecture rooms with multimedia and smart boards, and dedicated research centers. Campus amenities include separate boys' hostels (Sir CV Raman Hall and Tagore Hall), girls' hostel, mess facilities, transportation service (annual basis, first-come-first-serve), sports facilities, gymnasium with trained instructors, medical clinic with 60+ pharmacist staff and physician support, auditorium and conference halls, and a temple for spiritual activities. The college also operates ISFAL (ISF Advanced Laboratory) offering testing and consultancy services, and maintains an animal house and cell culture facilities for research.
Research & Innovation
ISF College is a recognized research hub with 40 patents filed, 9 technology transfers, and 27 government-funded projects. Over the past five years, the college has published 940 papers total, with 392 indexed in Scopus and a combined impact factor of 925. The institution has 69 published books and supports multiple PhD scholars under approved supervisors. The R&D Cell coordinates research initiatives, and the college has established 48 MoUs and collaborations with pharmaceutical and related industries to foster innovation and industry-academia interaction.
Placements & Outcomes
The Placement and Career Guidance Cell provides comprehensive support including career counseling, soft skills training, communication development, resume writing, interview preparation, and mock placement drives. The college offers industrial tours, guest lectures by industry experts, and internship opportunities. Students benefit from individualized pre-placement counseling and interaction with professionals. Over 7,300 alumni are placed globally, with placement records available for 2019–2022. The college maintains partnerships with leading pharmaceutical and healthcare recruiters to facilitate employment opportunities.
Admissions
Admissions for the 2026–27 academic session are open. Eligibility for undergraduate programs (D.Pharm. and B.Pharm.) requires 10+2 with PCM/PCB. Postgraduate M.Pharm. programs require a B.Pharm. degree, while Pharm.D. requires 10+2 (PCM/PCB) and Pharm.D. (PB.) requires B.Pharm. PhD admission is also available.
