International Centre for English for Academic Preparation Inc. is a private college in Ontario, Canada, offering English for academic preparation and bridging programs.
ICEAP was established in 2009 in Nova Scotia. It offers bridging courses that prepare students for their chosen university or college programs and equips them with required study skills. The EAP Program consists of six main levels plus a Bridge level.
ICEAP set up its King's campus in 2019 after several years of sending graduates to King's through its bridging programs. Its Toronto campus was established in 2014. ICEAP became a member of EduCanada and was authorized to use its logo in 2014-2015. It cooperated with CICS from 2022.
ICEAP gained the Languages Canada certificate and formal membership in 2013, and it sits on the Quality Assurance Committee. ICEAP obtained its Designated Learning Institution (DLI) number to host international students. It is accredited by bodies designated to oversee schools in the education industry in Canada.
Students who successfully finish ICEAP EAP and/or bridging programs are thoroughly prepared for academic programs and receive guaranteed admission to partner universities and colleges. Its research team's Reading Speed Pedagogy for Pre-University Curriculum was invited to lecture at the 2017 and 2019 Ontario TESL Association Academic Annual Meetings.
The Toronto campus is located in the North York region of the GTA, at 885 Don Mills Road, Suite 400, Toronto, ON M3C 1V9. The King's campus is located on King's University College at Western University campus, at 370 Huron St, London, ON N6A 2K4. The King's campus offers male and female on-campus residence with a meal plan. Listed facilities include a campus shuttle bus, residence at STA Hall, a laundry room, campus security patrol, a cafeteria at STA Hall, single, double and executive rooms, female residence at Ursuline Hall, and Western University facilities.
Applicants may be admitted through an ICEAP placement assessment or English proficiency evidence. Conditional admission is also available through a Conditional Letter of Acceptance.
