Institute of Advanced Management is a hospitality education institute. Its mission is to provide world-class education and training in hospitality management through advanced training methods, meaningful research, and close collaboration with industry and business institutions. The institute reports over 5,000 alumni, who are fondly known as IAMites or "dynamites".
History
The institute has been providing hospitality education for over 3 decades and celebrates 30 years of success. It is described as one of the oldest professional hospitality institutes in the country and among the first to be approved by AICTE. In 1995, it became the first Indian institute to be validated to deliver a degree-level programme of any British University.
Academics
The institute offers a 3 Year Programme in Hotel Management & Catering Technology, which is AICTE approved. It also offers a Dual Degree with B.Sc in International Hospitality Management and a Diploma in Bakery & Pattisserie. The institute is recognized by the UGC for its Bachelor Degree.
Campus & Facilities
The institute has campuses at Kolkata, Belgaum, and Guwahati, each integrated with commercial training hotels or hospitality services.
