ICSW offers Master's and PhD programs in Clinical Counseling and Psychotherapy with a psychodynamic foundation. The Master's program is available in both full-time (2 years) and part-time (3 years) formats, designed for working professionals. Curriculum covers psychoanalytic theory, counseling methods, professional ethics, couple and group therapy, substance abuse issues, and research techniques. Students complete comprehensive examinations, case conceptualization training, and field work in clinical settings. The institution is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
ICSW provides Master's degrees in Clinical Counseling and Psychotherapy, doctoral (PhD) programs, certificate programs, and a Pathways Program for prospective students. Specialized offerings include Integrative Psychoanalytic Couple Therapy courses and continuing education units (CEUs) for licensed clinical social workers. Fall MA application deadline is June 30. The institution offers both part-time and full-time pathways to accommodate working professionals. Graduates pursue careers as licensed professional counselors (LPC), clinical social workers, and psychotherapists in diverse settings. 97% of graduates work in degree-related employment, with 73% of surveyed alumni reporting their degree prepared them well for employment. ICSW does not meet licensure requirements in Colorado, Kentucky, Nevada, and North Carolina.
