Harrison College offered more than 30 programs across six schools of study: business, nursing, health sciences, information technology, veterinary technology, and culinary arts (through The Chef's Academy). The college awarded associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, and certificates. Baccalaureate nursing degree programs were accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, and the institution held accreditation from the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
Harrison College operated 11 campus locations across Indiana, Ohio, and North Carolina, with its main headquarters based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The college was originally founded in Marion, Indiana in 1902 as Indiana Business College before expanding to multiple locations.
On September 14, 2018, Harrison College announced that all campuses would close permanently on September 16, 2018. The Chef's Academy remained open until October 14, 2018 to allow students to complete their current term.
