Harding School of Theology offers graduate degrees including Master of Arts (MA), Master of Arts in Christian Ministry, Master of Arts in Counseling, Master of Divinity (M.Div.), and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), with optional emphasis or concentration areas. The school is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. To serve its geographically dispersed student body—approximately half of the 240 students live outside the region—the school provides courses in traditional semester format, online, and intensive one-week formats.
The school is now housed in the McInteer Bible & World Missions Center on the north side of Harding University's main campus in Searcy, Arkansas, following its relocation from Memphis in fall 2024. The L. M. Graves Memorial Library, built in 1964 with major expansions in 1978 and 2006, contains over 140,000 book volumes and 24,000 periodical volumes with 615 current subscriptions, specializing in Christian theology, ministry, and counseling resources.
Harding School of Theology exists primarily to train religious ministers for congregations of the Churches of Christ. The institution is affiliated with Harding University and the broader network of Churches of Christ-affiliated educational institutions.
