Gwinnett College offers associate degrees and certificates through its main Lilburn campus. The Sandy Springs campus specializes in diploma and certificate programs in massage therapy, medical assisting, and medical office administration. The Sandy Springs location was originally founded as the New Life Institute in 1994 and acquired by Gwinnett College in 2006, with expanded offerings added in 2008.
The main Lilburn campus is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and approved by the US Department of Education. The Sandy Springs campus holds accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
