About
G.D. Memorial Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital is located in East Ramkrishna Nagar, near New Bypass, in Patna, the capital of Bihar. The college is governed by a Governing body constituted under the G.D. Memorial Foundation trust. It has emerged as one of the eminent Homoeopathic education centres in the State of Bihar.
History
The college was established in 2001 by Dr. Ramjee Singh, a veteran Homoeopath and educationist of Homoeopathy. It was the dream project of Dr. Ramjee Singh, who was elected as a member of the Central Council of Homoeopathy in early 1991 and later elevated to Vice President.
Academics
The college offers a five and half year full time BHMS course designed to focus on the standard practice of Homoeopathy. The aim is to blend theory and practice so that students gain confidence in implementing the science of Homoeopathy. The attached G.D. Memorial Specialties Hospital provides avenues for clinical teaching through its OPD and IPD.
Campus & Facilities
The college has its own building with a separate block for each department. Departments are equipped with laboratory instruments, models and other teaching aids. Listed facilities include a library, reading room, laboratories, operation theater, maternity service, pediatric clinic, psychiatry clinic, pathological laboratory, X-ray service and physiotherapy clinic.
Admissions
Admission to the BHMS course is through UGMAC (Ayush)-2024 counselling, based on NEET (UG)-2024 rank.

The college is recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), Ministry of AYUSH. It is also recognized by the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, and the Government of Bihar.
