History
The Smt. Shakuntala Educational and Welfare Society was established in 1998 and registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, with its registered address at Daryaganj, New Delhi. Suneel Galgotia established Galgotias University in 2011. The university began operations in the 2011-2012 academic session and welcomed its first batch of students in July 2011. Dr. Dhruv Galgotia leads the university as CEO.
