Fatma Teachers Training College is run and managed by Fatma Educational & Welfare Trust, Mozahid Nagar, Hindpiri, Ranchi, having Registration No. 17698/2092/2008. The college is run under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of India, as an imperative need for a larger number of untrained graduate youths of the region. Its mission includes preparing teachers of academic integrity and accountability and bringing the weaker sections of society, STs, SCs and Minorities, into the national mainstream.

History

The college was established in the year 2012. It is affiliated to Ranchi University, with an affiliation letter covering 2021 to 2024.

Academics

The college offers B.Ed and D.El.Ed programmes. B.Ed admission is on merit through the JCECEB entrance test, while D.El.Ed admission is on merit of intermediate marks. Students can also be admitted as CML rank-holders based on JCECEB results. The college focuses on developing competencies among students and building their professional skills, and it has committees such as NSS, cultural, and sports for all-round development.

Campus & Facilities

The college has a sprawling, eco-friendly campus with huge open space and a well-equipped building with laboratories, a library, and other essential facilities required by the National Council for Teacher Education.
