Academics
DY Patil College of Engineering offers eight undergraduate B.Tech programs: Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, and Robotics & Automation. The college also offers postgraduate programs in Civil Engineering (Construction & Management, Environmental Engineering), Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecom (VLSI & Embedded Systems), Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Design), and Robotics & Automation. The IT department, established in 1999, was among the first four colleges to offer IT under Savitribai Phule Pune University and has produced approximately 870 graduates.

The college occupies 10 acres in the D.Y. Patil Educational Complex, Sector 29, Nigdi Pradhikaran, Akurdi, Pune 411044. The campus features well-equipped laboratories, a library, administrative offices, and on-campus boys and girls hostels with modern amenities. The location provides proximity to the Pimpri Chinchwad Industrial Area, one of Asia's largest industrial belts, facilitating industry partnerships and internship opportunities.

Admissions for 2026-27 are open across eight undergraduate programs with a combined intake of 1,095 seats. The college accepts NRI quota applicants.
