Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya is a public institution in Indore, established in 1964. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), originally established as the University of Indore in 1964 and renamed in 1988 after Maratha queen Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar, is a public state university in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The university operates through autonomous schools of studies across Nalanda and Takshashila campuses and has over 300 affiliated colleges serving the region. It holds an 'A+' NAAC accreditation and ranked 49th among state public universities in the 2025 NIRF rankings.
