Dell Medical School offers an MD program designed to train physician leaders equipped to address 21st-century health challenges. The medical campus occupies the southeastern corner of UT Austin's central campus, adjacent to the UT School of Nursing. Dell Med accepts MD students through a competitive admissions process. The school declined to complete the U.S. News statistical survey and remains unranked by U.S. News & World Report for both Research and Primary Care. Visiting students may apply through the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) portal, with applications due six weeks before rotation start dates.
