Academics
DTU offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across engineering, design, management, and economics. Undergraduate programs include B.Tech in various specializations, B.Des (Bachelor of Design), BA(H) Economics, and BBA. Campus & Infrastructure
DTU operates multiple campuses including the main campus at Shahbad Daulatpur and an East Delhi Campus. Facilities include a Central Library, Computer Centre, EDUSAT Hub, Hostels, Guest House, Gymnasium, Health Center, and Kids Day Care Center. The East Campus features a new academic block with an additional computer centre, state-of-the-art library and information centre, seminar rooms, and a 200-capacity auditorium. Banking, postal services, and medical facilities (Janaushadi Kendra) are available on campus.
Admissions
DTU conducts admissions for multiple programs including B.Tech (regular, NRI/FN/PIO, and lateral entry), B.Des, BBA, M.Tech, M.Des, M.Sc, MBA (multiple specializations), Ph.D, and specialized certificate programs. Admissions are conducted through online portals with specific application deadlines for each program. The university also offers B.Tech Continuing Education for working professionals and international admission pathways.
Placements & Outcomes
DTU maintains strong placement coordination through its Training and Placement Department. The East Campus has demonstrated significant placement success, with corporate engagement events resulting in hundreds of internship and placement offers from leading companies across analytics, digital, EdTech, and finance sectors. Research & Innovation
