Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology is a public institution in Sonepat, established in 2006. Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) is a state public university located in Murthal, Sonepat, Haryana, established in 2006 by an Act of the Government of Haryana by upgrading the erstwhile Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering (founded 1986). The university focuses on science, engineering, technology, architecture, management, and humanities, spanning a 273-acre campus on National Highway 1 (GT Road) approximately 50 km from Delhi. It is NAAC 'A' Grade accredited and affiliates technical and professional colleges in Sonepat district.
