Davis Technical College offers competency-based career and technical education in an open-entry, open-exit environment. Students may start or end at any time during the year and progress at their own pace. Programs span manufacturing, information technology, transportation, health, business, and English as a Second Language (ESL). The college serves both high school and adult learners seeking practical workforce preparation.
The main campus is located in Kaysville, Utah on 68 acres east of Davis High School. Additional training is provided at Davis Tech Freeport in Clearfield, Utah and in local high schools. The campus includes the Haven J. and Bonnie Rae Barlow Technology Building (64,000 sq ft, opened 2009) housing manufacturing, IT, and transportation programs, and a 16,000 sq ft Entrepreneurship Center (opened 2006) supporting small business development and community partnerships.
Davis Technical College is a public institution under the Utah System of Higher Education, specifically part of the Utah College of Applied Technology (UCAT) system established in 2001. The college is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education and operates under the leadership of President Darin Brush.
