CMN offers general education and tribal-specific coursework leading to associate degrees and certificates. Programs focus on the needs and interests of the Muscogee Nation, including Mvskoke studies, Mvskoke language instruction, and tribal administration—one of only seven tribal colleges in the U.S. offering a degree in tribal administration. The college emphasizes a student-centered learning environment grounded in Muscogee culture, values, and self-determination, with faculty blending excellent qualifications and Muscogee knowledge into instruction.
The college occupies a 37-acre rural campus on Loop 56 in Okmulgee featuring a 22,000 square-foot educational and administrative facility with Smart Board-equipped classrooms, computer lab, Student Success Center, and student commons. On-campus amenities include student housing, a Student Center, cultural community garden, library with 24 computers and quiet study rooms, and the Core Values Café. Student organizations provide community involvement and cultural engagement opportunities.
CMN welcomes general admission and transfer students, concurrent high school students, non-degree seekers, and returning students. The college reports that 100% of first-time students receive grants or scholarship aid. Applications can be completed online in approximately 15 minutes. The Student Success Center provides academic advising, tutoring, career readiness services, and support for students at risk of academic probation. CMN has served more than 35 American Indian tribes since 2004. The college maintains articulation agreements to support student transfer pathways and offers microcredentials alongside traditional degree programs.
