CCNB is a New Brunswick community college with campuses across the province and a distance learning option.
The Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) has its head office, or Siège social, at 725, rue du Collège in Bathurst, NB. Its Plan stratégique 2022-2027 was adopted unanimously by the Conseil des gouverneurs on June 23, 2021. The plan runs from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2027 and is built around four main axes. The signature, mission, vision and values form its foundation.
The renewal of the college's strategic planning process began in winter 2020 and has been completed.
CCNB has campuses in Bathurst, Campbellton, Dieppe, Edmundston, and the Péninsule acadienne in Shippagan. Residences are available on the Edmundston and Shippagan campuses. Facilities listed include a library service, an online library catalogue, CCNB housing (Logements CCNB), and the Campus virtuel for distance learning.
CCNB has five schools: business, office and IT; preparatory studies and languages; trades and technologies; fisheries, natural resources and community services; and health sciences. Its distance training can be followed from home without travelling to a campus, and combines live (synchronous) and self-paced (asynchronous) courses. Distance courses are open to Canadian students, including permanent residents of Canada, but not to international students.
Canadian applicants are assessed on their secondary school diploma and the admission profile requirements. Applicants who do not meet these requirements may take the CCNB admission test. Mature Canadian candidates aged 21 and over, and permanent residents without a Canadian secondary diploma, also have admission routes. International candidates require a secondary school diploma or equivalent and an admission test.
