Forgescom offers more than 170 training courses that allow businesses and individuals to reach their objectives. Its training covers more than 14 diversified sectors focused on labour market needs, including agriculture, woodworking and construction, early childhood education, and health.
Forgescom offers coaching, team consolidation, and skills assessment services, as well as Recognition of Acquired Competencies (RAC). The SARCA service is free of charge. Training is offered in partnership with the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail (CPMT) and Services Québec.
Reduced-rate training through Services Québec is open to workers employed in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean territory who enroll in a course related to their current job or that broadens their skills. Self-employed workers spending more than 20 hours per week on their business are also eligible.
The secretariat is open Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. m. m.
