The Centre de formation professionnelle Eastern Québec is a public learning centre open to all. It is located at 3005, rue William-Stuart, Québec (Québec) G1W 1V4, and can be reached at 418 654-0537. The Centre is financed and recognized by the Ministry of Education of Québec.
The Eastern Québec Learning Centre, which is part of the Central Québec School Board, has been providing adult education services in English for more than 25 years.
The Centre's mission is to promote student success and lifelong learning, and to prepare its diverse clientele of learners for further education and/or the workplace. It serves English- and French-speaking students of diverse ethnicities who wish to earn a Secondary School Diploma, attend a vocational studies program, or study French or English as a second language.
The Centre provides quality education in English within a safe, respectful, warm, and stimulating environment. It offers continuous registrations for general education and vocational programs including Secretarial studies, Accounting, Hotel Reception, Health, Assistance and Nursing, and Pharmacy technical assistance. A guidance counsellor provides evaluation services, assistance, support and advice to students aiming for a vocational training program or CEGEP. The Centre states its vocational programs have excellent employment rates.
