Centre de formation des Métiers de l'Acier is a Montréal training centre offering vocational programs in steel and construction trades.
Centre de formation des Métiers de l'Acier is located at 9200, rue de l'Innovation in Montréal (Québec), H1J 2X9. The centre's daily exercise program has students and teachers begin each school day with about fifteen minutes of stretching and warm-up exercises. The Fédération des centres de services scolaire du Québec awarded the college a Prix d'excellence for this program.
The college offers four DEP programs: Montage structural et architectural (1230 hours), Chaudronnerie (1290 hours), Pose d'armature du béton (735 hours), and Fabrication de structures métalliques et de métaux ouvrés (1350 hours). It also provides customized training for companies through Formations sur mesure. Prospective students may attend as a one-day student in any of the four programs.
Applicants must submit original documents with their admission application. Applicants born in Quebec must provide a birth certificate showing their parents' names, a Quebec health insurance card, and an MEQ transcript.
