COTC offers over 50 degrees and certificates including Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Applied Business, and Associate of Technical Studies degrees. Programs can be completed in as little as one semester or two years. The college provides flexible delivery methods including on-campus, hybrid, hy-flex, remote, and online options. Students can earn credit for prior learning through industry-recognized credentials, professional licensure, work experience, or approved exams.
The flagship Newark campus spans 155 acres and includes the 81,000-square-foot John and Christine Warner Library and Student Center (opened August 2008) and the John Gilbert Reese Conference Center. Extended campuses in Coshocton, Knox, and Pataskala serve approximately one-third of total enrollment. All campuses provide academic advising and student success coaching. The college offers experiential learning through internships, fieldwork, practicum, clinical experiences, and service-learning opportunities.
Regular admission is open to all who have earned a high school diploma, completed homeschooling at the secondary level, or passed the GED test. The college welcomes high school students through College Credit Plus and concurrent enrollment programs, first-time college students, transfer students, military and veteran students, and international students. The Gateway Enrollment Center provides one-stop services for admissions, academic advising, and student records. Applications are processed with no application fee.
