Central Carolina Community College offers a comprehensive range of programs organized into seven Career Communities. Students can pursue Associate Degrees (Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science), one-year or shorter Diplomas and Certificates, and Adult Education courses. Notable programs include Biotechnology, Building Construction Technology, Dental and Laser & Photonics Technology, Nursing, Sustainable Agriculture, and Veterinary Medical Technology. The college partners with local school districts to offer early college programs allowing students to earn both a high school diploma and an associate degree simultaneously.
The college operates three main campuses across Central North Carolina. The Chatham Main Campus in Pittsboro includes the CCCC Student Farm and Chatham Health Sciences Center. The Harnett Main Campus in Lillington houses the Harnett Health Sciences Center and offers classes at Harnett Correctional Institution. The Lee Main Campus in Sanford serves as the college administration hub and includes the Dennis A. Wicker Civic & Conference Center, Keller Health Sciences Center, and the E. Eugene Moore Manufacturing and Biotech Solutions Center—a specialized facility addressing advanced manufacturing and biotechnology workforce development.
Dr. Lisa M. Chapman has served as president of Central Carolina Community College since April 1, 2019, bringing a background in higher education leadership focused on enhancing student success and community engagement.
