A public French-language cégep in Quebec's Laurentides region, operating three campuses and offering pre-university and technical programs.
The Cégep de Saint-Jérôme is located at 455, rue Fournier in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec. The college's mission is to contribute actively to the improvement of society through the excellence of its teaching, programs and research, centred on student success and anchored in the Laurentides. Its vision is to cultivate innovation and to assert itself as a leader in the region and in higher education. The college had 8700 students across its regular sector, continuing education and businesses, and more than 900 employees.
The college was created in 1970 when the Saint-Jérôme campus of the Collège Lionel-Groulx became a cégep in its own right. A second campus opened in Mont-Laurier in 1983, and the Centre collégial de Mont-Tremblant was inaugurated in 2008 as the third campus. The Fondation du Cégep de Saint-Jérôme was created in 1994 to support students' academic success. The Centre de développement des composites du Québec (CDCQ) was created in 1989 as a collegiate technology transfer centre affiliated with the college. The strategic plan covers 2025-2030.
The college offers 28 pre-university and technical programs in its regular sector, along with 10 attestation d'études collégiales (AEC) programs. Campus facilities include the Bibliothèque Marie-Anne-Blondin, Auditorium Germaine-Guèvremont, Cafétéria, Café étudiant, Installations sportives, Restaurant pédagogique Neurones et papilles, and Résidences étudiantes. The college has 2 collegiate technology transfer centres, the CDCQ and the IVI.
Quebec residents apply through the SRAM application using the regular application process. International students are admitted via SRAM as well. Candidates without a Quebec secondary diploma must meet a French-language proficiency requirement.
