Cégep de Drummondville is a public college in Drummondville, Quebec, offering preuniversity and technical programs.
The college's history begins in 1968, when the Collège de Drummondville was the first institution to offer collegial education in Drummondville. It opened one year after the creation of the cégeps. About 500 students attended the institution that year.
The college offers eight preuniversity programs that can be combined as double DEC. It also offers fifteen technical programs and about fifteen Attestations d'études collégiales. The college oversees the Centre collégial d'expertise en gérontologie (CCEG) and is a co-founder of the Centre national intégré du manufacturier intelligent (CNIMI).
The college welcomes more than 3,500 students each year from regular and continuing education. Campus facilities include the Salle Georges-Dor, a professional performance hall with 338 seats, and two gymnasiums, André-Lamy and Desjardins. A new pavilion with 13 multifunctional classrooms is planned as part of an expansion project.
The college is located at 960, rue Saint-Georges, Drummondville, Quebec J2C 6A2. Drummondville is situated in the heart of Quebec, halfway between Montreal and Quebec City.
