Stanford International College is a career-focused college registered under Ontario's Career Colleges Act, 2005, with campuses across the Greater Toronto Area.
Stanford International College was established in 2003 and is registered as a Career College under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005. Its stated goal is to provide quality, student-centered and career-focused education that supports the personal growth and employment of its students. The college offers vocational certificate and diploma programs in the Trades, Business, Information Technology and Health Care fields. Its Scarborough campus is located at 930 Progress Ave., Scarborough, ON M1G 3T5.
The college started with one program and campus in 2003 and has grown to five campus locations. Canadore College at Stanford is now known as Canadore's Toronto Campuses at Stanford College. In May 2012, Stanford College signed multiple articulation agreements with Canadore College in North Bay, Ontario, covering its Accounting, Automotive Technology, Business Management, CNC/MasterCAM, Hospitality and PSW programs.
Stanford's programs correspond to Canadore diplomas and certificates, including the Machinist Mechanical Diploma, Motive Power Technician Diploma, Business Accounting Diploma, Personal Support Worker Certificate, and Hotel and Restaurant Operations Diploma. Having a formal articulation allows graduates a pathway to take courses comparable to, or acceptable in lieu of, courses at community colleges and universities. Several campuses are licensed testing centres for TSSA (Gas Technician program) and CWB (Welding program).
Stanford operates campuses in North York, Toronto, Mississauga, Scarborough, and Brampton. Student services include Career Services, Counselling services, and a Testing Centre. International students can access airport pickup and housing assistance, as well as health insurance and medical information.
