California Christian College offers both associate's and bachelor's degrees, with programs ranging from liberal studies to Christian ministry. The college is accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) and is a member of the National Association of Christian College Admissions Personnel (NACCAP). The college's library contains historical resources with volumes dating from the 1800s to the present.
Founded in 1955 by 48 Free Will Baptist Churches to address the need for trained pastors in the western United States, CCC initially held classes at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Richmond, California before relocating to a 4-acre campus at the corner of University and Winery in Fresno. The college operated continuously except for 1985–86, when the governing board re-evaluated its mission. In 2015, the college moved to a temporary location at 5364 E. Belmont Avenue at Harmony Freewill Baptist Church as it prepared for new campus construction.
The college serves a diverse student body from around the world with various denominational backgrounds. CCC is owned and operated by the California State Association of Free Will Baptists, with governance through a Board of Trustees and a president serving as the administrative officer.
