By the fall of 1941, it suspended civil operations for the duration of the war, supporting the RCAF and the Allied war effort through the Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
The school offers year-round flight training. Brandon Flight Centre charges the same tuition rate for domestic and international students. International students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of commencement. The school has welcomed international student pilots since 1941.
In addition to its original building and land, the Club operates a full service FBO and maintenance shop. Listed facilities include a Flight Simulator, the Brandon Municipal Airport (CYBR) training airport, and an Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO). Night flying is available at Brandon Municipal Airport.
