B.L.D.E.A'S Group Of Colleges is a private_nonprofit institution in Bijapur, established in 1982. BLDEA (Bharatiya Lingayat Development Educational Association), Vijayapura (Bijapur) is a century-old private educational trust established in 1910 by Vachana Pitamaha Dr. P.G. Halakatti, operating 75+ institutions across North Karnataka. Its flagship engineering college (BLDEA's V.P. Dr. P.G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology) is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), and the association also runs BLDE (Deemed to be University) recognised by UGC.
