The university was established by The Times Group, whose operations began in 1838, and which entered higher education in 2016.

Academics

The university offers specialised programs spanning Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Management, Media, Law, Liberal Arts, Design, and Applied Sciences. It has more than 50 undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs across nine schools, including the School of Artificial Intelligence and the School of Law. Over 90% of its faculty hold a PhD.

Admissions

Undergraduate admission is based on Class XII merit with JEE Main, SAT, IB or IGCSE scores, and merit is assessed through national exams and university entrance tests. Management postgraduate admission uses CAT, XAT, NMAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, BU MAT, or CUET percentile. Law admission uses CLAT, CUET PG, or BULET with a personal interview, and Design admission uses NID, NIFT, UCEED, or BUDAT with a portfolio and interview.
