Academics
ARSD College offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2022. Undergraduate offerings include B.A. (Hons.) in Economics, English, Hindi, History, and Political Science; B.A. (Programme); B.Com. (Hons.) and B.Com. (Prog.); and B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, and Physics, along with B.Sc. (Physical Sciences) and B.Sc. (Applied Physical Sciences) variants. Postgraduate programs include M.A. in Hindi, English, and Political Science, and M.Com. Admissions are merit-based through CUET (Common University Entrance Test) with program-specific subject combinations.
Research & Innovation
The college is recognized as a DBT Star College and operates a Central Instrument Facility (CIF) supporting research across disciplines. It actively publishes research, manages research projects, and has filed patents. The college hosts international conferences, including the 3rd International Conference on Recent Advances in Functional Materials (RAFM-2026), and maintains collaborations with external institutions. Undergraduate research publication is encouraged through dedicated programs.
Campus & Infrastructure
The college occupies a 12.31-acre campus at Dhaula Kuan, acquired in 1959. Facilities include a library, technology business incubator, sports amenities, and dedicated research laboratories. The campus supports student activities through the National Service Scheme (NSS), Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, and cultural societies including Rangayan (The Dramatic Society).

Undergraduate admissions follow the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) based on CUET scores. Founded by Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha (originally established in 1882 at Rawalpindi), the college embodies values of knowledge pursuit, integrity, and community service. The inaugural ceremony in 1959 was presided over by the Speaker of Lok Sabha and Vice Chancellor of Delhi University. The college has produced notable alumni including National Award-winning actor Raj Kumar Rao and political leader Satish Upadhyay.
