The college was established in 1979 by a licensed cosmetologist. Angelo and Mary Sacco opened Art & Technique Academy of Hairstyling in Oshawa, Ontario, in 1979. In 1998, the Sacco family launched the development of a complete, on-site Esthetics Academy in response to rapid growth in the skin and beauty industry.
The college offers diploma programs in the hairstyling and esthetics industry, one of the fastest growing industries in North America. Its teaching is based on qualified instructors, industry standard training, an advanced modern curriculum, small class sizes, instructor-led classes, and hands-on training.
