A for-profit art school in Tampa that closed in 2023, part of The Art Institutes system.
The Art Institute of Tampa offered art and design programs, with a particularly notable culinary program. The school was accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and operated as a branch of Miami International University of Art & Design.
The culinary program gained recognition for community involvement. In 2006, culinary students and staff volunteered to create menus, budgets, and prepare food for a Pinellas County Habitat for Humanity charity event. The school also sponsored the Best Teen Chef competition in 2007.
The Art Institute of Tampa closed on September 30, 2023, as part of the broader closure of all Art Institutes schools.
