Alberta Business and Health Institute (ABHI) is a registered and designated private career college under Alberta Advanced Education. It is also a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). ABHI has campuses in Calgary and Red Deer, and the Red Deer campus is located at 5009 Gaetz Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N 4B2. The institute states its commitment to providing students with access to efficient facilities and resources that support both academic excellence and hands-on learning.
ABHI offers monthly intakes for most of its programs, and courses can start on weekdays or weekends. Its Hybrid Learning model combines live online classes with scheduled in-person classes. Students use Microsoft Teams and D2L Brightspace to access course materials, recorded lectures, assignments, and communication tools. For programs with a practicum component, ABHI arranges one practicum placement through its network of industry partners. ABHI does not currently offer transfer credits toward any of its programs.
Classrooms are equipped with up-to-date technology, including multimedia tools and reliable internet connectivity for in-person and virtual classes. Massage Therapy students have access to fully equipped labs and the ABHI Student Clinic, which provides real-world practicum experiences under supervision. Students also have access to textbooks, e-books, and research databases to support coursework and independent study.
