Alberta Business and Health Institute (ABHI) is a registered and designated private career college under Alberta Advanced Education. It is also a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). ABHI is dedicated to providing accurate and up-to-date information to all its students in accordance with current federal and provincial guidelines.
ABHI has campuses in Calgary, at 1915 32 Ave NE #1, Calgary, AB T2E 6R6, and in Red Deer, at 5009 Gaetz Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N 4B2. Listed facilities include classrooms with up-to-date technology, Massage Therapy labs, an ABHI Student Clinic, a library and digital resources, and online learning platforms.
ABHI offers monthly intakes for most of its programs, and courses can start on weekdays or weekends. Its Hybrid Learning model combines live online learning with scheduled in-person classes. Business programs include Accounting and Payroll Administration and the Business Administration Program. Health & Wellness programs include Community Support Worker, Massage Therapy, Medical Office Assistant/Unit Clerk, and Pharmacy Assistant. ABHI also offers an Education Assistant Program.
For programs that include a practicum component, ABHI arranges one practicum placement through its network of industry partners. At this time, ABHI does not offer transfer credits toward any of its programs.
ABHI offers Standard Student admission (Alberta High School Diploma or equivalent), Mature Student admission, and International Student admission. The admission fee is a non-refundable $50.
