AIACTR is a public institute part of the Government of NCT of Delhi. Its address is Geeta Colony, East Delhi, New Delhi-110031. The college's vision is to become an Institute of Excellence in the field of Post-Graduate Engineering.
History
AIACTR was started in 2001 with 30 intakes each in the ECE and CSE branches, to cater to the growing need for technical education. The foundation stone of the new campus was laid by Chief Minister Sheila Dixit on 24th May 2006. One batch passed out in 2005 with campus placements.
Academics
AIACTR presently offers four M.Tech programs: Information Security, Digital Communication, Signal Processing, and RF & Microwave Engineering. A campus page states that the college started two M.Tech programs, Signal Processing and RF & Microwave Engineering.
Campus & Facilities
The campus was built in a record time of 18 months by the PWD. Facilities include centralized air-conditioning, an RO system, a lush green playground, a rain harvesting system, and a nursery. Listed facilities also include a library with reading room and e-journal access, a reprography facility, a book bank, a gymnasium, and soccer, cricket, badminton, volleyball, and table tennis areas.
